What's his best work, /lit/? Why is he considered, by some, the best writer of all time?

About to read this, never read anything else by Shakespeare. What should I keep in mind? What's the best Shakespeare play in your opinion?

Hey friendos, quick question: which should I read first by him, Othello or Macbeth? I'm asking for these two because I was gifted them for my birthday. I'm not an anglo so I never had to read him in school.
