What would we call this period we live in now (from the 90s to current day) that is marred with unforeseen tragedy and blatant disregard for the human spirit? A world where individuals obtain their lifes meaning through the virtues instilled into them by technocratic mega corps. It feels like we are truly in a time of great metaphysical evil.

Are we just slaves to this destiny of torment and pain whos path has been preordained by the unseen hand? How do we break free from this?
