One of the most amazing experiences in my life had to be being in the Louvre statue garden. I don't know what exactly it is about them, but I find statues to be phenomenal. Anatomy fascinates me and the amount of detail, action, and emotion they can capture is impressive. The technical skill required is also something to be inspired by. Sort of unrelated, but impressionist style artwork is also a favorite. Something about the blurry look to them.

I'm going to post some of my favorite statues from the Louvre and the Orsay cause it's late and I'm bored.
