The website is superfluous. I mean, do I need to have a website to discuss different things? Get a goodreads account to discuss books with friends. Get an imdb account to discuss movies with friends. Get a steam account to discuss video games with friends. Get a myspace account to discuss music with friends. Get a deviant art account to discuss art with friends. Get an okay cupid account to discuss relationships with friends. Get a youtube account to discuss videos with friends. Do you see how absurd this sort of logic becomes?

So now we have a generation of readers trapped in the mentality of middle schoolers. Now we have twenty-somethings who can't analyze texts because they're used to non-challenging reads-- which in turn make them less likely to read anything written above a fifth-grade reading level, because they're incapable of doing it.

And now we have literature boards on the internet where the supposed well-read, high-brow posters couldn't identify a single theme from their favorite book, because they don't know what a theme is.
