ya know, i'm probably the person that gets the most out of /lit/ here, therefore that makes me the most practical poster on here.

I'm more oppressed here than girls on the whole, I just kind of remember who it is that's doing it & feel better.

who cares? us in the real world (the place where 'shit gets done' outside of academia, for all you humanities majors) don't notice it at all.

for instance young deep&edgy here would not be doing a philosophy degree if he was a rich &/or popular kid.

when you actually think about it philosophy is just the bastardization of poetry by outcasts who cant create/are neurotic so they just go off on that time sink if they're heady enough to show off that they have smarts even though they fail at real communication. whereas poets are generally sexy or loved by the people or want their ideas to actually mean something/inspire people. I'm sure Nietzsche said something like he learned more from Dostoevsky than the entire shitty Greek philosophy tree.
