That's probably an argument suited more AGAINST current anime rather than FOR it, since artstyle has deteriorated.
I've caught wind (of a possible meme/inaccuracy) that something has caused this to be, whether it's incompetence on the current generation of anime artists or if it's more of a budgetary cut issue.
And honestly, I've grown allergic to anime tropes. Especially the comedic shit. I'm just curious but: have the old and tiring comedic tropes of anime evolved, or are they still the same?
Nowadays I usually try to go for something more serious and not exaggerated.
But I'm a 31 year-old male who hasn't enjoyed anime in well over 10 years and have been slamming to metal and reading fantasy so I guess I've grown too out of that.
