Rand postulates that altruism is to blame for the world's current state of affairs; that altruism is essentially a system not of selflessness but of self-sacrifice, which is contradictory to man's nature.
Is she right? Does society bending to the whims of (what Rand calls) "parasites" ensure its demise out of necessity? Is there such thing as being too altruistic?
