i finished infinite jest but I noticed that dfw uses long as fuck sentences with dashes --like this where he writes a lot-- then continues the sentence and then i have already forgotten what continuing part is about.
how do i improve my reading?

I will never get over the feeling that I chose humanities not out of earnest interest, but because I was too dumb for math. I only grew to like humanities because there was no other choice.

The main reason I studied humanities is because I was bad at math. How do I cope with this?

It has been brought to my attention that in order to be well read you need some knowledge of science. I am a brainlet who failed at math and science in school and barely managed to pass. How do I remedy this? Where do I start?

I'm 21 and I feel like I know considerably more about the world than most people my age. But at the same time there are so many people that know so much more than me that I'm practically retarded in comparison.
