The best (/lit/) book club has met yet again. It's been a while. We actually did met in reduced number two months ago but I didn't make a thread for some reason.
For any of you who do not know, or may have forgotten, there is a /lit/ book club in Hamburg, Germany which meets on a regular basis every 1 - 2 months. Anyways. We met up last weekend. Instead of starting with literature, because we again were in reduced number, we instead went to look at some art in the Kunsthalle (a museum essentially) for a few hours before the rest of our members joined us at a bar/café to talk about our books.
Some of the works covered were Dostoyevsky's "Notes from the Underground", George Büchners Collected Works (Woyzeck, Lenz etc.), Jaspers "Geistige Situation der Zeit", Heisenberg's "The Physicist's Conception of Nature" and Proust with "Swann's Way." Plans for next include finally discussing some of our own writing additional to the books and authors. Currently we're not really looking for members, because it was already quite surprising to find so many people in Hamburg who browse this board. But if anyone really wants to come to one of our meetings just mention it in this thread and I'll see what I can do.
