I'm having an exceptionally hard time in the dating pool.
So few women seem to be intelligent, or at least deep in any sense. It seems like every girl I match with is only interested in surface level media consumption and drugs
Maybe its my fault for using dating apps but I'm genuinely struggling to meet a woman with an ounce of depth and I'm not sure how to go about finding one.

I'm reading The Republic for the first time and I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to be getting out of it
I've been following along making notes in a journal to try and condense what the arguments are but I'm in book 3 and I don't understand why there has been such a shift from the Nature of Justice to the tales of Homer.
Is there any accessory reading or studying I could do to understand the book better?
