What are some anti-rural books? I have lived in the country all my life and it fucking sucks. Throughout all of literary history living in the country has been romanticized. After you have lived here for a while you realize nature fucking sucks. The people here are all boring and retarded. No walkabiliity. For fun all people do here is drive 30 minutes to Walmart to walk around because they are bored. Walmart is the town square of rural villages. The country is a barren wasteland. It has no life and variety and I feel my mind deteriorating living here. So yeah what are some anti-rural pro-urban books.
