He was not a democrat, but that does not mean he was a Nazi. Nazis are the herd, there's nothing aristocratic about them. He hated traditionalism, the Germans, the herd, the belief of everybody being "equal", he hated the cozy illusion of safety, of being part of a "bigger thing" that state and religion will give you. The individual is the sole thing having any potential worth for him, and it stands alone in the empty universe. There's this thing being too progressive, and Nietzsche certainly was. It made it easy to interpret the shit out of him, and the Nazis needed a past, a sort of fore-runner of their philosophy, not just contemporary Heidegger. So they took dead old poor Frederick and with the help of his Sister they succeeded to some extent. Although his stance on the herd was so obvious that nobody in his right mind can take consider him as a Nazi philosopher. But people don't read philosophy, they babble about it.
