I used to be quite dismissive of depression.
Then I watched Girl's Last Tour and it was the most uncomfortable, anxiety-inducing, and down right terrifying anime I'd ever seen.
I later learnt that the mangaka wrote it as essentially one giant allegory for their depression.
This raised my empathy for the depressed immensely, as if that's what depression is, then it must be soul-crushing.
Just hang in there OP, I'm not sure what else I can say...

A decent amount. It is mostly popular with the neo-luddites that hang around here.
I do wonder why I never see anyone drawing links between Ellul and Weber. Ellul's technology is very similar to Weber's Formal Rationality, and I refuse to believe that Ellul wasn't influenced by Weber's ideal-type bureaucracy and Iron Cage.
Yet there isn't a single mention of Weber in the book.
