I once wrote a book about astrocardinal consciousness and great astral chains but the people who read it said it was too pretentious and racist, so I never finished it

I'm currently writing a fantasy/sci-fi novel
quick summary:

>Becomes the most wanted nigger slave in Agstrinle
>travels West to retrieve the nigger zulu sword to conquer Agstringle
>never return from his journey and becomes the last ghost nigher slave of Agstringle
what do you think so far? still struggling with the ending

I try but I always fail and relapse back into browsing the web for 6+ hours whenever I try to do something
Only through sheer luck and thanks to open book exams due to online courses I managed to actually continue doing my absolute meme degree
I can't even finish a piss easy report without getting distracted and sperging out
Neurologist suggested that I should visit a therapist but I'm cringing at the just the thought of visiting one
Are meds my only chance? Anyone here actually managed to stop being a brain fried ADHD procrastinator (possibly without any stims) and became a somewhat functional person who learned a skill/got a nice job?

Are there any books which make explicit and concrete predictions about the near future (say the next 10-30 years)? I want to be better prepared for what lies ahead of me and it's not looking too bright - my country is facing a very hard demographic situation, the share of pensioner increases and it looks like a tiny minority of productive people will have to take care for them all. Add to that the precarious labour market and housing shortage and you've got a recipe for a tragedy. I'm honestly very much afraid of the future. I took for granted that my illusions about adulthood would be shattered as soon as I would enter the adult life but I didn't expect it to be this brutal.

Any people actually here who managed to turn their life around?
Like went from internet, cooming, Vidya degenerate that wastes 10 hours daily to someone who has found a way to give his life a structure and learned a skill/went back to uni/found a decent joberino
