Both Psychoanalysis and Analytic Psychology have never been demonstrated to be even remotely effective clinically, and today they are rightly regarded as an antiquated scam by the vast majority of practicing psychiatrists and psychotherapists. The only meaningful therapy that can be termed truly effective is ABA, and only on ASD pts.

Freud, Jung, and their coterie were primarily literary figures, which is why their influence today remains only in media analysis and shit self-help literature, not actual psychology and psychiatry.

For what purpose? Jung was a quack and a degenerate, arguably even a bigger one than Freud himself. At least Freud got re-examined and somewhat fixed by Post-structuralists. Jung's main legacy remains being used by midwits as a crutch in sophomoric literary analysis, and being wheeled out to justify absurd interpretations of the world by reactionary New Agers.
