So, I fell for the meme and decided to start with the Greeks and so I bought myself a copy of Plato's complete works. I don't know why people buy so many copies of individual books when they can just save money by buying the whole thing. But I'm hoping to spend a year just immersing myself in Plato and then moving on to Aristotle and probably spending 2 years on him since his complete works are in 2 volumes and he seems far more dense from just skimming some of his writings. But I need help. I want to get the most out of this year long journey and not just read to say I've read him but I actually want to understand Plato. So, I was wondering what is the best order to read Plato and Aristotle in. Also, what's a good place to get secondary literature of people commenting on Plato and Aristotle as well as explaining individual books. Lectures, YouTube series, books or even websites and academic journals going through key ideas and the scholarly consensus on certain books and part of their writings would be handy.
