I have an essay to write about how Yeat's poetry 'can easily give the impression that he has begun it not knowing where it will end; he is a poet of discovery’. My argument is that the death of God left yeats and Modernism as a movement seeking to reinvent religious belief in culture. hence why he's always seeking transcendence or seeing Man as a God
