I was at a party a while back discussing book choices in a heated sort of way with this dicky guy. Out of nowhere he says 'What did you just go to the penguin classics section or something'

I can't stop thinking about it it's like I'm listening to only radio music rather than discovering the lesser known gems. Is this true with books? (What triggered his reaction were mentions of Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky) I know I shouldn't care but I do
