There are a couple of reasons like lack of punctuation or everything being in capital letters or allthewordsbeingbuncheduplikethis
My favorite one, as Seneca notes in his letters, whether it was poetry or some history book, it was meant to be read aloud so you can fully appreciate the sonority with which the writer sculpted his piece.

Excellent, I especially liked the way you dictated 3:00 - 3:17, great emotion and cadence!
>And I have known the arms already, known them all—
>Arms that are braceleted and white and bare
>(But in the lamplight, downed with light brown hair!)
>Is it perfume from a dress
>That makes me so digress?
>Arms that lie along a table, or wrap about a shawl.
>And should I then presume?
>And how should I begin?

Nigger that's a lyrically beautiful song, is your problem literally just that it fades out to that lyric?

>And if a double-decker bus crashes into us
>To die by your side is such a heavenly way to die
>And if a ten-tonne truck kills the both of us
>To die by your side, well, the pleasure, the privilege is mine

As someone who is passionate about art and literature, I enjoy having an outsider interpretations and analysis of most works. I feel as if I were to pursue a formal education in my passion, I my understanding of the arts would become 'institutionalized' and would conform to prevailing academic interpretations and attitudes.

The only lens I want to appraise art with is my own, crude as it may be. I want to dive into the Western Canon blindly and enjoy art as an independent outside observer.

Does anyone else like picking out "soundtracks" for the stuff they write? Like listening to random music or soundtracks and imagining them playing during fitting scenes from your book.

I personally enjoy writing the most when I've picked out a specific track that would play during the scene as if it were a movie and listen to it on repeat until I'm finished with it.

This dance
This dance
It's like a weapon
It's like a weapon
Of self defense
Self defense
Against the present
Against the present
Present tense
I won't get heavy
Don't get heavy
Keep it light and
Keep it moving
I am doing
No harm
As my world
Comes crashing down
I'm dancing
Freaking out
Deaf, dumb, and blind
In you I'm lost
In you I'm lost
I won't turn around when the penny drops
I won't stop now
I won't slack off
Or all this love
Will be in vain
Stop from falling
Down a mine
It's no one's business but mine
That all this love
Has been in vain
In you I'm lost
In you I'm lost
In you I'm lost
In you I'm lost

Jamming out to music late at night almost makes up for being sad and alone during the day. Sometimes I'll even stand up and pretend like I know how to dance, it's fun.
