I was looking for that and ended up getting this instead. Fortunately, most people I've spoken to haven't caught that I haven't read Ulysses.

Ulysses was the most boring book I've read. I'm not disputing it may be a classic, but it just wasn't for me. I liked Portrait of an Artist and Dubliners though.
