Clutter is a weird term. I have 25k books but also live in a 17k sq/ft barn complex with my wife, cat and horses, so “clutter” isn’t really a problem. Nor is cost, to be frank.

I’m curious: do you have any criticisms of book collecting beyond cost or space?

What is your favourite book from the Antiquity?
For me, it's The War with Hannibal by Titus Livy

Doubt all you want. This is mine:
Pykewater.com
Every year or two I’ll make a thread and post updated images here and there. I don’t make YouTube videos of my library for obvious reasons.
You’re still a piece of shit.

Ancient Greek or Latin? And since I'm only really interested in reading, is there any reading benefit in also learning to speak?

I'm an ameritard so obviously I grew up monolingual, but I've learned Parisian French to a mid-B1 level in the past year. I figure Latin would be easier as the grammar would map better from French than it would to Greek, but I'm also slightly more interested in the literature Greek would make available.
