I appreciate your help to improve my writing since im a noob.
I found this:
Proper haiku poetry has three elements: a reference to nature (kigo), two juxtaposed images, and a kireji, or “cutting word” which marks a transition in the verse and pulls the poem together. An individual image occupies lines 1 and 2, with the third line containing the kireji.

I simpy disagree with the need for a "Kigo". I think human life is part of nature, the most relevant part in fact.
And my Haiku has a "kireji": the "it never began" phrase has a very powerful undertone in the blackpill community, youre probably not familiar with that community so you dont realize how powerful that phrase is.

Also, I created something more powerful than a haiku: I created a haiku that has a powerful Kireji but also actually rhymes within and between phrases while still making coherent sense, which is extremely difficult to do with a haiku.

Shit. NEET for two years broke me. Not even one year as a wagecuck sealed the deal, this is depressing.

45k into my first manuscript. Some anon told me at 10k to keep going. Another anon told me to keep at it when I hit 30k.

This one thread is genuinely more supportive than anyone I know

It's a fact that most people's attention span these days have gone down the shitter. For some people its impossible to read books because they will inevitably get distracted by phone/video games/internet bullshit that has instant gratification. How does one combat this? I'm not quite as bad as people who won't even pick up books, but I can only read like a chapter a day and then I have to stop no matter how interesting the book.

>reading on bus
>some guy sits down seat next to me
>still reading
>suddenly he leans over
>whispers "Good taste"
>"O-oh, t-thanks, hehe...", I jerk out
>he says something, probably pertaining to the author or book, but I can no longer hear him
>I'm deaf
>my face is red
>sullenly wish I could get up, open the doors, and let the bus run me over
>but to do that I'd have to ask him to move
>he's now staring at me
>I say "oh, cool, yeah"
>look down at book again
>pretend to read, but actually planning my sudoku
>do this the next half hour until he gets off
>the seat is a wet puddle beneath me
Yeah, I like showing off my smarts.
