>be Aldous Huxley
>realise women are all whores
>write mediocre dystopian novel in which women are now whores
>conservative women buy the novel, "shocked" by its dystopian images
>sell millions of copies to whores
>profit

What is it about dystopian novels that we find so attractive? Whether it's Huxley's Global State, Orwell's Oceania or even modern YA dystopias like Panem, it seems the interest never fades. Is it because themes regarding humanity are often the easiest to explore in such a setting?

>But I don't want comfort. I want God, I want poetry, I want real danger, I want freedom, I want goodness. I want sin.
No-one today does anything uncomfortable. Everyone drives instead of walking or biking, eats fast-food instead of cooking for themselves, watches TV instead of reading difficult not-very-fun books. Brave New World is more relevant now than a hundred years ago. So how come today's generation hasn't written an equivalent book with the same messages as Brave New World if those messages are more important?

Why has there only been one good dystopia book?

I'm finally getting around reading all the classics I never read when I was young. I just finished Brave New World. I believe I'd choose civilization even if I was a retarded epsilon over poetry and art and freedom. Then again I completely fucked up this life.

I got filtered in the second sentence. What the actual fuck is wrong with this author? My English teachers would have had a field day with this shit.
