I don't think humor, genuine humor, can be learned as a technique. It can be trained tho. Read and watch things that make you laugh and you'll get immersed in it. Sometimes I write things that make me go haha, even tho that's not the point for me. It's also subjective. There are cases when Kafka's neighbors would wake up in the middle of the night because he was laughing his ass off writing his shit. I don't find his writing funny at all, but he did.

That's the government's plan on Adjustment Day, but the excess men get together into a terrorist group and kill a bunch of politicians. After that they divide the US in three parts: a middle-age Christian society for the white men, a wakanda-like we wuz kangz for the black and a fag utopia where heterosexuality is prohibited by law (and where they have to trade people with the other parts in order to survive since, well, they can't reproduce). Pretty gud book.
