I just started writing as a hobby and I don't aspire to ever be anything but a hobbyist. Gaining a small following of people who enjoy my stuff is all I need.
I have a bunch of ideas and I just started writing. I'm going through the first chapter of the first story I have ever written, it's taken me nearly a month and I'm sure very few people will finish reading through a full book-length story I write (at least a this stage), so it feels meaningless to keep going. The first chapter is already fucking huge as it is, but it is only the first chapter of a longer story, it cannot function as a stand-alone thing.
So I'm planning to just finish the first chapter and treat it as if it were a "pilot". That way, I can see if people gain interest in it while I work on another first chapter for a different story.
The only way to get better at writing is writing (and reading), but I crave views as much as I crave (You)s, and I'm not getting any younger. I was going to ask you guys if this was a good idea, but as I wrote this post I decided it was, so that's what I'm going to do.

I will learn anciend dark magics so I can whisper to my enemies in their dreams and drive them to insanity and ruin.

People say that suffering teaches, but I have no idea what I learned from never having a proper family, I have never even seen my mom and dad be in the same room. That it was bad, scary and humiliating? I could have told you all of that without having experienced it for myself. Randomly seeing a father play with his son or a mom and a dad both hunched over their child with a smile on their faces, It all just sends a jolt of pain throughout my whole body. I can't explain the feeling outside of an ominous notion that something is missing. I wish It would have never happened to me or to anyone, which is why I plan on not having children out of fear they might suffer the same fate. This adversity has not made me stronger or tought me anything although people seem to believe It should have. I wish things were otherwise, but It's all too late now...

>Lo! ’t is a gala night
>Within the lonesome latter years!
>An angel throng, bewinged, bedight
>In veils, and drowned in tears,
>Sit in a theatre, to see
>A play of hopes and fears,
>While the orchestra breathes fitfully
>The music of the spheres.

>Mimes, in the form of God on high,
>Mutter and mumble low,
>And hither and thither fly -
>Mere puppets they, who come and go
>At bidding of vast formless things
>That shift the scenery to and fro,
>Flapping from out their Condor wings
>Invisible Wo!

>That motley drama -oh, be sure
>It shall not be forgot!
>With its Phantom chased for evermore
>By a crowd that seize it not,
>Through a circle that ever returneth in
>To the self-same spot,
>And much of Madness, and more of Sin,
>And Horror the soul of the plot.

>But see, amid the mimic rout,
>A crawling shape intrude!
>A blood-red thing that writhes from out
>The scenic solitude!
>It writhes! - it writhes! - with mortal pangs
>The mimes become its food,
>And seraphs sob at vermin fangs
>In human gore imbued.

>Out - out are the lights -out all!
>And, over each quivering form,
>The curtain, a funeral pall,
>Comes down with the rush of a storm,
>While the angels, all pallid and wan,
>Uprising, unveiling, affirm
>That the play is the tragedy “Man,”
>And its hero, the Conqueror Worm.

What is your belief regarding what happens to us after we die and what is your best argument for it?

Anyways, speaking of Acephale, does anyone practice a sort of Bataillean spirituality? He wrote a lot about atheistic spirituality (his Summa Atheologica trilogy, Erotism, etc.) and wrote a series of mediations among other things for Acephale.

Does anyone practice a sort of Bataillean spirituality? He wrote a lot about mysticism, he formed a cult, and he wrote a series of meditative exercises based on the philosophy of Heraclitus.

Are there any other materialist, atheist mystics similar to Nietzsche and Bataille?

Sick and tired of conventional life, the normie milieu is just plain disgusting to me at this point. Can't stand office enviroment, can't stand the Netflix small talk, can't stand the whorish and entitled women. Hate my apartment too, every single waking hour I wish I had stayed NEET.

Seriously considering a drug habit and delving deep into occult study, like necromancy or something.
