>In fact when I engage with people on a day to day basis it becomes clear to me that people don't spend enough time with themselves. They lack identity and depth to their views and opinions.

Don't you think it takes some time to verify that? I think most people are in an automatic mode of sorts when doing their every day stuff and it takes some time to get to know them better and see if they're in fact *shallow*.

What's your favorite dystopian literature?
>1984
Why?
>I found the totalitarian 'secret police' society I lot more interesting as an idea than a cultural phenomenon. It's the kind of book that makes you think about the freedoms you have and want to fight to never have it turn like 1984. I believe that because '1984' the book was made, '1984' will never happen.
What author do you think accurately predicted the future?
Huxley definitely got a lot of things right.
>Feelies == porn
>Soma == anti-depressants, other drugs
>Sexual freedom (still no orgieporgies ...yet)
>Concern for sports (hover golf etc)
>People admonishing outliers of society

>pic related
