Maybe they aren't LARPing? Let's see what Catholicism offers and let's see if maybe, just maybe, people are actually attracted to it.

So, Catholicism:

>Provides profound and challenging moral precepts for follow in our lives
>Nurtures community, friendship and family in a way that secular society does not
>Is devastatingly honest about the nightmarish nature of existence while also providing a means for true joy and hope for our lives today as well as for the life to come

That's a pretty appealing spread if you ask me. But let's see what secular society offers. It:
>Provides nothing but the most shallow answers to life's deepest questions
>Gives us distractions and short-term pleasures but nothing deeply satisfying
>Is dehumanising, applying a cold rationality to every imaginable problem
>Has no ideals except the vaguest notions of peace and progress
>Has sent addiction and mental illness rates through the roof
>Will eventually collapse, most likely due to declining birthrates
