Fuck this piece of shit. The only lines in it that are at all poetic or that sound anywhere near good are stolen from T.S. Eliot's Lovesong of J. Alfred Prufrock.

Its going to depend on the boy. Most guys disagree with each over if one or the other is actually in love or not, though this usually only comes out when a bro is in a shit relationship and doesnt know it.

So youre probably going to have to define love first. I mean you really will find 16 year old boys who know nothing about a girl see something, anything, a little bit of skin during PE, and they "fall in love".

Ive never been in love so I cant help you. I thought I was in love when I was 16. Turns out I was just pretty excited to have a girl be nice to me, and, of course, she had big tits.

Also
10/10 for baiting everyone and me to not talk about books on /lit/

I've been a writer for two video game projects while I was in uni.

>How do I get into video game writing?
Im not too sure about this since the opportunities were sort of just thrown at me while at uni. If you are in uni, look for game development clubs, or anyone that is interested in making a game, and become their writer for their indie game. If you're not in uni, then I dont know. Thats the route I was given, if you mean become a writer for an established game company, I dont know.

>How do I plan out a story when players are allowed to make independent decisions?

The rest of the team we'll be deciding this, not you. The game being fun is more important than the story. If the team wants to do deal with a game where the story can take multiple routes, even being open world, then you are going to be given more power in whats happens, but again, itll depend on the team. If its just a normal linear game, then youll have to work around what the team has made so far and where they want it to go.

By the way, big tip, always, ALWAYS, try to find a way to explain the story through the player engaging the game, rather than having a character tell the player the plot.

For example, the game Journey. They dont tell you to be lonely. That you should feel lonely. That you are the last of your kind. That this person you just met up with might be the only person you ever get to interact with, even though you are both essentially mute.

The player through playing the game experiences that. A writer for a good game needs to be able to think of things like this, tell the team, and both can work together to make it happen.

Rooms. Shes saying she knows of dorms having same sexes in the same suite but neighbors might be of the opposite sex, but she is surprised there is a boy for her roommate supposedly. Probably misconception shenanigans. Definitely shit.

The more you talk about it, actually, the more this makes sense to me.

I probably just naturally filter through threads that are going to get filled up with this kind of a response, so of course it seems new to me.

I wonder what kind of books these people like
