These dreams aren't necessarily about your literal mother. Dreams are symbolic. She could stand for the Mother Complex in general, or even the whole unconscious. It's not healthy to fight the unconscious, which is why requesting "books to fight my inner psyche" is a destructive move.

The recurring nature of the dreams are a sign that your unconscious is trying to communicate something important. In these cases it is relentlessly insistent. I had recurring dreams for years before I finally started figuring them out. I recommend reading Jung's writings on dreams, and exploring the unconscious through reflection, active imagination and divinatory techniques. Give it every chance to make its message clear.

>The South Korean band BTS's 2019 album Map of the Soul: Persona is based on Jung's Map of the Soul, which gives the basic principles of Jung's analytical psychology.[159] It includes an intro song titled Persona rapped by group leader RM, who asks, "who am I?", and is confronted with various versions of himself with the words "Persona", "Shadow", and "Ego", referring to Jung's theories.[160] On February 21, 2020, the band released Map of the Soul: 7, which specifically focuses on Jung's "Shadow" and "Ego" theories.[161] As part of the first phase of the band's comeback, Interlude: Shadow, rapped by Suga and released on January 10,[162] addresses the shadows and the darkness that go hand-in-hand with the light and attention shone on celebrities.[163] The next comeback trailer, "Outro: Ego", performed by J-Hope,[164] ends with his declaration of self and ego as he appears within a colourful city “in which the artist’s current image is projected”.[165]

I am hoping someone who has read Jung could help me understand this dream:

I was in a place like a museum or some wealthy person's personal collection, and I was looking at and appreciating several paintings. One particular caught my attention, which depicted the highest deity of my ethnicity's traditional doctrine (Ahura Mazda, the God of Zoroastrianism). The figure then suddenly became animated and addressed to me that I must become a poet and write poetry.

What does this mean? Should I take it at face value? Is my unconscious telling me something?
