Squid Game got me thinking about how easy it is to make money by introducing an unknown genre to a western audience. Hunger Games kinda did this too by plagiarizing BR, and Undertale did it to some extent with "game knows it's a game and messes with save files."

Wonder what else is just waiting to be copied and introduced to the west?

Even if there is no major central book, the films from this genre are really good. I think this counts.
