All in due time. Like I said, the biggest obstacle to fixing the Church is all the "spirit of Vatican 2" type Boomers and old men who are currently in charge. But one by one, they'll die. Cardinal Danneels in Belgium died recently, and he was one of the rotten ones. They'll all die in the next ten or twenty years. That won't solve ALL our problems, but it will certainly help.

>You think they'll become more like the USA? That will happen without Christianity, too.

The United States is not a Christian nation either, it's a disgusting atheist capitalist shithole nation.

But it will be a Christian nation, in time. Whether it likes it or not.

This is what makes it so funny to me that >>12403750 is absolutely right about trad Catholics idolizing this show and loving Lenny. I wonder if Sorrentino anticipated that.

The monarchists and the serious Christians are the /pol/tards worth listening to, because they actually have some grander vision of the world than hating people with different skin colors.

Is he a reactionary? Is he a monarchist or an aristocratic republican? Is he an Orthodox, a traditionalist Catholic, or an advanced Calvinist?

If the answer to all of those questions is "no," then he is not at all the best the modern right has to offer. He's not even part of the modern right at all, really. The modern right has surpassed Shapiro.

>pro free market
>pro capitalism

I can't believe he's become some sort of reactionary icon. He's barely even a modern conservative.

Anyway as a Catholic I'm excited for the Church to turn hard to reaction once Francis and the rest of the Vatican 2 generation has died. Shit's going to be wild. The traditionalists are already making up ground at the parish and diocesan level.
