Me and my parents went to church for Wednesday night supper. I talked to the pastor about the Illuminati and the Freemasons. He didn't know that much about it but I said how they are gnostic Luciferians and he knew what gnosticism is and how it is against the Bible.

I conmected this topic to the Orthodox Christian doctrine of the essence/energies distinction. God has many energies, as Paul says, meaning operations.
I used to think "But what about attributes or qualities? Operations are what you do. Attributes are adjectives which describe you."
However as I learned more I realized that these are actually the same thing! Attributes are just a different linguistic form of describing energies.
