/lit/ is not one person and although it has many flaws it is not a hivemind. There used to be good philosophical discussion on this board with intelligent agnostic atheists and pious Christians exchanging book recs and ideas.

Now there are trolls and militant fedoras who don't discuss ideas but memes.


/lit/ has always discussed philosophy and the Concept of God and theology are part of philosophy. the only thing that's changed is that people start bitching that the whole board of internet strangers doesn't subscribe to their narrow-minded worldview, be it atheist or christian. There are still a few intelligent christians and atheists here but they are the minority.
