I wish my parents would give it a rest with all the fucking politics. I'm so tired of hearing. Every day they read boomer outrage news stuff and rant and yell about whatever retarded thing liberals are doing.
I'm not a liberal either. I don't like any of that crap. But I am sick and tired of hearing about it all the time.
They didn't used to be like this. Smartphones changed them.
Political outrage should never be your personality.
It is sucking all the energy out of me. It's like a depressing mental prison.

It's not going to be easy anon, be ready. I went threw something similar a few years ago and I still think about her daily. Be sure that you have things to do and people to spend time with or it is going to hurt even more. Are you two making a clean break or keeping contact? The ladder more often then not is more difficult.
