it's just the way han writes. i guess you could track down his doctoral thesis if you were really committed. but i think it just makes more sense to think of him as a gateway to larger or more systematic stuff if you're interested. there are certainly continentals who like to talk at length. that anon isn't wrong tho, if you want something substantial go for spheres.
