This is not the first time this has happened. The jewish "golden age" is pre-coherent-nation Spain, when the jews took power and let the arabs onto the continent as they have done in the present day west since solidifying power in the post WWII era. The jews and arabs fought together against the Spanish until both were kicked out in 1492, after which Spain began dominating the world.
