A Canticle for Leibowitz isn't good. It's glorious. Thoroughly recommend it. A few times you have to trudge through a page or two but the rest is hooking.

This nigga here. Also read the Hobbit several times. I'm not really one for re reading. I read somewhere that bookish girls find it attractive when a guy has read a book more than once so I might do it more often lol. Oh I've also read the Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglas three times but that was for school.

Which of these should I get started on next, /lit/? I just finished A Canticle for Leibowitz and I enjoyed it a lot.

I really wish there were more post-apocalyptic novels with the kind of historical scope that Canticle has. This is a kind of approach that I wish more authors took because I think it puts the whole concept of societal rise and fall into a more realistic perspective and provides for a lot more creativity.

Can anyone think of any other ones like this? "Last and First Men" by Olaf Stapeldon is one of the only others that comes to mind.
