Fuck, /lit/.

You know that extremely annoying phenomenon where a word is on the tip of your tongue but your mind simply can't make the necessary connections to remember it? I'm having that right now.
If any of you please could help me to remember it, I'd be eternally grateful.
It's definitely prefixed with "pre". It's used to describe something which is always at the forefront of somebodies mind, something like a fixation. I need to know it to continue writing an essay. The sentence: "The cathartic properties of art is one of Artaud’s _________ regarding the power of theatre..." I know I could just use "major arguments" or something similar, but this is really fucking bugging me.

Thanks /lit/.
