I'm a third year physics major at Tech right now. They changed that restaurant to a terribly overpriced organic place that I've only tried once. They did build a big dining complex next to folk/caldwell that opens in the fall, though.
I like my school. It's composed entirely of the kids who coasted by high school without trying with perfect grades, then got here and hit a wall, so if you dig deep enough into literally 95% of students here you'll find inadequacy-fueled depression and suicidal thoughts hidden at various depths. Sounds awful but makes for a surprisingly interesting environment. I just wish there were more kids who gave a fuck about the humanities, nobody here reads real books except my girlfriend.

I have nobody to talk about books with because nobody here reads anything but popsci and asoiaf-tier garbage, so the closest I can get is to shitpost on /lit/
But I can get away with only being semi-well read by /lit/ standards and still play myself off as the interesting literary guy to girls, which works shockingly well
