Go to uni. Seriously, learning philosophy is 100% easier/meaningful when practiced socially. Otherwise it's sort of bland and uninspiring.

If you're adamant about learning on your own, just take notes while reading. Deconstruct passages even if you're incorrect at first. Review your perspectives. Re-read and analyze. Remember to reach some sort of conclusion from what you read.
