It was also recommended in the last thread, but Umineko. It's a horror/mystery (sound) novel - terribly long, but a joy to experience.

Read Higurashi, Umineko and White Album 2. To fully enjoy WA2 you'll need to be proficient at moon, but it's great. SG is gay but Kurisu is cute. Majikoi and Rance are tons of fun. Skip Fate. Have heard good things about Fata morgana as well.

Honestly, VNs have really reignited my love for reading again. I think I got too burned out when I read almost 150 books two years ago.
