wow just wow, literally u have no idea what hte conscious and sub conscious is. read some freud, THEN jung, and then we can have this talk. its conscious and unconscious the subconscious is a pop sci term, but was originally aligned with frueds pre conscious which was the common ground between unconscious and conscious, ie the material about to enter through dreams, slips of tongue, visions, daydreams, etc.

the world is pain and suffering, he who increases knowledge increases suffering, all is meaninglessness and wholly vanity under the sun. this nihilism is not something unknown to christianity it is a central tenent. then why are we not a suicide cult. the preacher goes further and says to enjoy the gifts that God has given to you, because you earn nothing under the sun, namely food and water, and to enjoy the fruit of your labors.
