I was at the gym today, reading The Technological Society by Jaques Ellul between sets (I rest for 3-4 minutes, perfect for a page or two) and a girl actually came up to me (a 4 or maybe 5 on the classic 10-scale) and looked straight at me for a few seconds. I was hopeful, thinking I might've found 'the one', but then she spits out "are you actually _reading_ at the gym?" and walks away laughing in an obnoxiously loud manner.

Can you help me think of a proper retort next time I see her? Thank you all.
