Thanks anon(s). It's always inspiring to see informed posts explained with patience and clarity.

These experiments reminded me of Nietzsche's will to truth. In Twilight of the Idols his example pertains to dreams and how people will construct all kinds of narratives in general because they cannot stand chaos and lack of control (uncertainty). Which is all the worse since for him the ontological or metaphysical formula, a play on Spinoza, was "Chaos or Nature" (as in it boils down to the same thing).

Maybe it isn't a single proper way, but I mean to say that there should be some more conventional connections to form a foundation for the new usage of a concept. For example, Deleuze introduces the concept of univocity in many of his works, but he only clarifies how far he himself takes it (as opposed to Duns Scotus' scholastic approach which involved comparisons to Divine nature) in his courses (at Vincennes iirc). Even if someone knows Duns Scotus and medieval approaches well, it's very difficult to tell what Deleuze actually wants from the concept since there's already a bit of a tradition behind it. And that's just an academic example, when it comes to the ontology that Deleuze used which is then developed with Guattari, it's very difficult to create a precise picture of which concepts are most fundamental rather than just a vague general idea or feeling about it. For D&G I can understand why there's this difficult style, that feels at times like timid allusions said quickly, even when dealing with science since there were quite a few fringe ideas in there (that are today mainstream), but for Haraway it's at times like it's all neologisms and allusions and nothing else. I have not read nearly as much of her work as I have read D&G though so I should've started by admitting that in her case it's almost like a first impression.
