How do I tell my University’s print shop to print it on smaller pages for a paperback print? Would this be a ridiculous demand? Should I just print it out on regular sized paper?

Would it be more retarded to get my University’s print shop to make a spiral copy of the manuscript or to print it myself with a regular printer and then get an art friend to make me a shitty cover?
