Figured I'd post here since /lit/ has helped before with ebook problems.

I recently downloaded Cell by Stephen King for my Kindle Fire but for some reason it's glitched with lots of little squares where normally quotation marks would be and other areas. The book is just unreadable with these annoying squares everywhere so I tried to download a different copy but again it had the same problem with it. So far, it's only happened with this one ebook.

What the hell is going on? Is it some kind of DRM protection for not buying it? Also googled the problem and came up with nothing.
