This happens every time. Nothing puts me to sleep harder, and I go out cold. Instead of giving me anesthetics my surgeon could give me a couple pages of classic reading.

I'm trying to get through all of the LOTR books but I can barely do a chapter in one sitting. Are there any tips to stay awake and focused on the book?
