i cant read anymore
when i was in the third grade my teachers told me i had a high school reading level and i used to read all the time.

now i cant read a single paragraph without getting so bored i look away or skim over whole sections of text. when i try to read new programming books, i only end up taking in about 1/6th the information presented.
when i try to read a phrase like "the quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog", i get so bored that i skim so much that i only end up reading "___ quick brown ___ jumped ____ ___ lazy dog"
with larger pieces of information, this makes it difficult to learn at all.
my rewards system in my brain is so fucked that i cant read five words without getting bored, and at this point attempting to completely overwhelms me and my brain overloads. ive gone fucking retarded.
how do i learn how to read properly again without skimming over words or getting bored, or overloading and quitting?
if it helps to know, i have both autism and ADHD. does this impact it at all?
