I buy most of my books in hardcover but read all of them on my phone (or Calibre), it's very convenient and has built-in dictionaries (ESL here) and other useful software tools. Having the books right next to me gives me a greater sense of ownership and also motivation to actually read them; and on top, I have something nice to look at.

I'm looking for a fantasy book that features a boy traveling to a strange new land/world, or a boy who meets a stranger from a strange land/world

My 13 year old nephew really seems to enjoy the 'fish out of water' trope and I'm looking for books that might appeal to him
