It kind of blows my mind that bearded, quasi-homeless, unemployed virgins were the most respected people in society for 1,700 years. Today people read biographies of billionaires like they once read the lives of the saints. Not having "made their own fortune," is like the worst slander you can lay on Musk or Trump, whereas a lot of the saints were born as rich as them and gave their families entire fortune away. And then a number were poor peasants who went full homeless virgin and still were lauded as the height of human achievement despite making zero money or product their whole lives.

The hermits largely helped others through guidance and then the mendicants, which include a lot of the female saints, basically lived in homeless camps but instead of stealing tires they tended the sick and shared alms with the poor.

To the extent that there is an embrace of asceticism and a skepticism of the "world", sure. Though, Schopenhauer ultimately sought a sublimation into nothing - negation. The point of the Christian life is an affirmation - to become what God is by nature via the grace He bestows upon us. The renunciation of the world has an entirely different purpose. True life and freedom is found in partaking in the life of the God-man Jesus Christ. It is also there that we found our true humanity. St Maximos the Confessor's "On the Cosmic Mystery of Jesus Christ" talks about this very topic and, for our purposes, can be read as a riposte to Schopenhauer.

I'm not sure what those three things have to do with eachother, but if you read the history if the early church it's clear that the Orthodox church is the true apostalic successor to the church established by Christ and not the latin papacy. Church authority is real, but the concept of a pope having total authority over the whole church is a latin invention that came from the political situation of the Holy Roman Empire. Even earlier latin patriarchs like Gregory the Great say “Whosoever calls himself, or desires to be called, Universal Priest, is in his elation the precursor of antichrist.”.
Furthermore, the Roman Church changed the Nicene Creed to include the doctrine of dual procession which modern Catholics will cope and say isnt their position but the reality is that at the time of the schism and when the franks dominated the western churches and added the filioque that was in fact their position.
I'm sure some latins will have something to say about all that but that is a sort of quick rundown primer on it. Read Kallistos Ware, he is probably the best introduction to Orthodoxy that we have in English

Saint Maximus the Confessor proved atheism, gnosticism, and pantheism objectively wrong.

OP, yes I've been there. I think reading Saint Maximus the Confessor would be very helpful for you. He helped me quite a bit when I was searching for faith above deism and the blackpill. He basically answers and completes all of Greek thought and shows Christ to be the fullness and completion of all philosophy. Take a read and see for yourself though, it's pretty incredible stuff.

Here is a good Orthodox channel which helps to delve into Christ as the completion and fullness of all Greco-Roman philosophy:
